Melissa

I don't like the idea of ever being done. Every day I want to be better than the day before. Every day is a new beginning; a fresh start at being a better version of me. Every time you meet me or see me, I hope to be better than the last time (definitely funnier). Every time I create a new image, I strive for it to always be my best.

It’s hard to write flattering words about yourself without sounding a little narcissistic, but I will do my best to write about some things I love. I honestly love photographing weddings. I love photographing love, all kinds of love, and the sheer amount of love and variations of love at a wedding are just so plentiful! I really enjoy being a part of the festivities-something that your guests will notice as I crack jokes with them, dance with them, have fun with them - we are all going to have a good time.

I love getting tattoos - I have 8...currently. I love eating healthy (potato chips are vegetable!) I love my favourite humans, real hard. I love books - I have over 500. I love the library. I love travelling . I love summer. I love the desert.

And I love my camera. My camera has given me the ability to freeze time, to capture love, to capture the world as it is and to create worlds I imagine. The love affair I have with my camera enables me to meet so many unique and lovely humans. Maybe you’ll be the next one? Let’s start a new adventure.

*I hate that the world needs this to be said, and I look forward to the day that I can remove this paragraph from my site: All people are welcome here, specifically LGBTQQIP2SAA, BIPOC, I see you and you matter to me! For those that care, I am Pansexual and I understand the privilege my life carries being a white woman when in a het relationship in a system designed for her to win. Let’s take some pictures and chip away at this white supremacist patriarchy. Anyone showing signs of homophobia, transphobia, sexism or racism need not apply. *
